DESCRIPTION:Aim: to encourage more advanced\, solid projects between Switz
 erland and the MENA region. The impulse for the COG proposals should come 
 from previous collaborations between the Swiss and the MENA applicants\, w
 ith the goal to evolve and deepen those partnerships.\nThe objective of th
 is instrument is to allow researchers to conduct fieldwork\, laboratory fe
 asiblility studies\, or to organise conferences and workshops. \nThis cal
 l for "Consolidation Grants" is launched for the first time and it is curr
 ently open. The COGs are different from the Research Partnership Grants (2
 021\, 2022\, 2023) as the Swiss and MENA partners must have already conduc
 ted at least one activity together.\n\nAmount: CHF 40\,000\n\nDuration:  
 18 months\, max.\n\nDeadline: 02.10.2023\n\nEligibility: The call is open 
 to all scientific disciplines and fields of research. However\, proposals 
 planning developments for military application will be rejected.\n\n	Swiss
  based scientist:  Main applicant\, must hold a position\, either permane
 nt or lasting until the end of the project\, and have a research or practi
 cal experience of three years or more\n	MENA based scientist: must be affi
 liated to an accredited university or a public research institute and must
  hold a faculty or scientist position in addition to several years of rese
 arch or practical experience\n	 Partners : must have already conducted a
 t least one activity together. This activity can be (non-exhaustive list):
  publication\, teacher exchange\, project funded by an external grant\, jo
 int teaching\, co-supervised doctoral thesis\, etc. Applications which do 
 not specify any ongoing or completed joint activity will not be considered
