DESCRIPTION:BRIDGE is a joint programme conducted by the Swiss National Sc
 ience Foundation (SNSF) and Innosuisse\, the Swiss Innovation Agency. It o
 ffers new funding opportunities at the intersection of basic research and 
 science-based innovation\, thereby supplementing the funding activities of
  the two organisations.\n\nBRIDGE Proof of Concept projects support young 
 researchers (see eligibility criteria on the website) who aim to develop a
 n application or service based on their own research findings. These proje
 cts may feature any type of innovation or research field.\n\nBRIDGE is lau
 nching the 3rd special call in July 2024 exclusively for applicants with a
  Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree. Approximately 1 million francs have 
 been made available for the call. \nParallel submissions are not permitted
 \, but applicants eligible for the special call can also decide to submit 
 their project to the regular call instead.\n\nSubmission deadline: \n\n	2 
 September 2024\, 17:00 Swiss local time\n\n\nGeneral information about the
  BRIDGE PoC:\n\nFunding: Max. CHF 130\,000 per year. It covers salary and 
 costs that are directly linked to the execution of the project.\n\nDuratio
 n: 12 months. It may be extended once for a maximum of six months.\n\nAppl
 icants must pre-register in EPFL applicant portal\, to obtain the Institut
 ional commitment letter (applicant portal opening: July 8th).\n\nPre-regis
