DESCRIPTION:How it works:\n\n	Researchers in the two countries need only s
 ubmit one grant application for joint projects.\n	The projects must have a
  joint research question and a joint research plan. The work in each count
 ry does not constitute an independent project and therefore cannot be carr
 ied out separately.\n	Falls under SNSF Project Funding Scheme\n	\n		No add
 itional budget\n		SNFS applicants may only submit a Lead Agency proposal i
 f there are no thematic overlaps with other applications or with ongoing p
 rojects\n		Israeli collaborators have their own budget rules & calculator\
 n	\n	\n\nAmount: \n\n\n	Maximum: 1 million francs annually for the project
  as a whole\n	Maximum: 250\,000 francs annually per applicant per project\
 n	Applicants can freely divide grant funds among themselves\n	Minimum: 100
 \,000 francs\n	SNSF grant covers staff salaries\, research costs and fundi
 ng for scientific collaboration\n	Primary investigator salary is paid by h
 ost institution\n\nDuration: \n\n\n	Maximum: 48 months\n	Minimum: 12 month
 s\n\nDeadline: 02 October 2023\n\n\n	The two funding agencies have agreed 
 to take turns as lead agency on a yearly basis\n	In 2023 researchers must 
 submit their applications to SNSF\n	Israeli researchers submitting an appl
 ication must register with the ISF by 24 October 2023 and submit an admini
 strative application by 7 November 2023 (applicants without a registration
  will not be processed)\n\nEligibility:\n\n\n	Experienced researchers\n	Wo
 rking at a university or another institution in Switzerland that is eligib
 le to receive funding.\n	In collaborative projects with three or more appl
 icants\, one applicant may work at a research institute abroad if their ex
