DESCRIPTION:Agora funds communication projects that foster dialogue betwee
 n science and society\, enabling researchers to share their current resear
 ch directly with a lay audience.\n\nFunding is available for communication
  projects by researchers that are developed and realised in collaboration 
 with experts from communication\, knowledge transfer\, culture\, media and
  similar. The researchers themselves should mainly carry out direct commun
 ication with the public.\n\nIn this call\, particular attention will be pa
 id to the dialogue-with-society component\, the applicant teams' communica
 tion skills and the diversity of communication formats and target audience
 s.\n\nThere are 2 different formats:\n\nAgora rolling call projects: \n\n	
 Funding & Duration: between CHF 5’000 and 50’000 for max. 36 months\n	
 Deadline: Rolling call\, apply at least 4 months before the start of the p
 roject.\n	Decision: communicated within 4 months\n	A rejected rolling-call
  proposal may be resubmitted only once if significantly changed.\n\n\nAgor
 a projects: \n\n\n	Funding & Duration: between CHF 50’000 and 200’000 
 for max. 36 months\n	Deadline: 16 September 2025 at 17:00 (CEST)\n	Decisi
 on: March 2026\n	Earliest possible start: 01 April 2026\n\n\nThe project m
 ust:\n\n\n	make the target group familiar with the current scientific rese
 arch conducted by the applicants\;\n	target groups that are freely defined
  but do not consist of the professional addressees in academic teaching an
 d research or members of the applicant’s research institution. The prima
 ry target groups are located in Switzerland\;\n	have a significant impact 
 on the target group in terms of raising awareness\, engagement and partici
 pation in scientific topics\; and\n	have links to research that is or was 
 awarded funding by the SNSF or another qualified institution under a compe
 titive procedure and/or is the subject of a recognised (peer-reviewed) sci
 entific publication.\n\nThe following projects are not eligible:\n\n\n	Pro
 jects conducted within the scope of implementation and technology transfer
  partnerships.\n	Projects that involve marketing campaigns or institutiona
 l communication measures and media relations.\n	Projects that conduct rese
 arch into science communication.\n	Projects with links to ongoing National
  Research Programmes (NRPs) or National Centres of Competence in Research 
 (NCCRs).\n	Projects aimed at achieving commercial goals.\n\n\nWho can appl
 y:\n\n\n	Projects must be submitted jointly by a researcher and a communic
 ations expert\n\n\n\n	Researchers employed at least 20% at a Swiss higher 
 education or research institution.\n	Communication experts: People working
  on projects as communication specialists can lead or co-lead a project.\n
 	Applicants need to work with the communication service of the host instit
 ution: Applicants must contact Mediacom before the submission\n\nEligible 
 costs: \na. costs of Agora specialists\; \nb. costs of project partners\;
 \nc. costs of employees whose positions are approved by the SNSF\;\nd. sub
 contracting costs\;\ne. expenses that are directly linked to the project's
  execution\, such as production costs and the cost of\nmaterials\;\nf. cos
 ts for the publication and communication of the product resulting from the
  project in Switzerland\nand abroad\;\n\n\n. \n\nFor further information\,
