DESCRIPTION:Aim: BrightFocus provides research funds for U.S. and internat
 ional researchers pursuing pioneering research leading to greater understa
 nding\, prevention\, and treatment of glaucoma.\n\nPostdoctoral fellowship
  awards are intended for young researchers in their final stages of mentor
 ed training. These awards fund projects in an established laboratory that 
 will serve as the basis for the applicant's own independent research caree
 r.\n\nDuration: 2 years\n\nFunding: $150\,000\n\nEligibility: Postdoctoral
  Fellowships are available to junior and senior postdoctoral fellows. Appl
 icants with pending appointments are eligible to apply\, but the appointme
 nt must be finalized by the start of the award.\n\nHow to Apply: Applicati
 ons must be submitted through ProposalCentral. Instructions for submission
  can be found here. More detailed instructions for the application can be 
 downloaded once you’ve registered on the portal. When your proposal is c
