DESCRIPTION:The International Geneva Award (IG Award) has been established
  to encourage outstanding research scientists to produce publications that
  are particularly relevant for International Organisations (IOs). The Awar
 d is a prestigious academic distinction specifically created to promote li
 nks between Switzerland’s academics and International Geneva. The Award 
 will be given to the three best papers published on a subject related to i
 nternational studies that are especially useful from the perspective of In
 ternational Organisations.\n\nThe SNIS provides CHF 15’000 annually for 
 the IG Award. Ideally the SNIS awards three prizes every calendar year. Th
 e maximum amount allocated to each prize is CHF 5’000. In case of a grea
 ter number of equally remarkable papers\, the SNIS International Geneva C
 ommittee (IGC) can decide to share the total amount available between a g
 reater number of finalists.\n\nEligibility: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n	Entrants m
 ust be professors or researchers at a post-doctoral level working in a Swi
 ss university at the time of the paper’s publication. They do not need t
 o be citizens or residents of Switzerland. Only one submission per person 
 per year (or group of persons in the case papers are co-authored) is allow
 ed.\n	Papers must either have been accepted for publication at the time of
  submission (proof required)\, or have been published in a scientific jour
 nal after the 1st September 2022.\n	The research described in the paper mu
 st be in the field of international studies\, as defined above.\n	Papers m
 ust be submitted in one of the three following languages: English\, French
  or German\, with a substantive abstract in English. All material in anoth
 er language must have a full translation in English\, French or German inc
 luded in the submission\, as well as a substantive abstract in English.\n	
 Papers written as part of a SNIS funded research project are not eligible.
 \n	Papers written by members of the International Geneva Committee and the
 ir families\, as well as members of the Governing Committee are not eligib
 le.\n\n\nDeadline: by 3 November 2023\n\n\n\n\n\n
