 ental Theory Session\nOrganized in the framework of the MAS in Urban and 
 Territorial Design\, the sessions see invited guests address the theme of 
 the semester: “Counterprojects of Coexistence”. The sessions\, offerin
 g a combination of theoretical positions and professional design experienc
 e\, address the challenges of spatial\, social and energy transition thr
 ough various contributions: from human geography\, urban studies\, spatia
 l design\, environmental studies and system thinking. Ranging in scale fr
 om the global to the local\, focusing on the urban commons and ecological 
 transition\, each session sees the guests present their work followed by a
  moderated discussion together and with the audience.\n\nAbout Speaker\nSi
 lvia Federici (1942–) is an Italian and American scholar\, teacher\, and
  activist. She is a professor emerita and Teaching Fellow at Hofstra Unive
 rsity\, where she was a social science professor\, co-founder of the Inter
 national Feminist Collective\, and the Committee for Academic Freedom in A
 frica. She is the author of numerous books and essays on feminist theory a
 nd history and political philosophy\, including Caliban and the Witch: Wom
 en\, the Body\, and Capital Accumulation\; Revolution at Point Zero: House
 work\, Reproduction\, Feminist Struggle\; Wages against Housework\; Re-Enc
 hanting the World: Feminism and the Politics of the Commons\n\nSource: Wom
