DESCRIPTION:Aim: IRP invites researchers active in the field of basic or c
 linical research on CNS Regeneration\, Neuroprotection\, and functional re
 storation with special emphasis to the spinal cord to submit their applica
 tion for an IRP Research Grant.\n\nResearch projects may address all aspec
 ts of CNS and spinal cord lesions\, nerve regeneration\, trophic support o
 f lesioned neurons\, and functional changes induced by lesions\, preferent
 ially in mammals. Clinical research projects can focus on the fields of di
 agnosis\, acute lesion management including surgery\, neurology\, urology\
 , rehabilitation\, and other areas related to paraplegia.\n\nFunding:   
     150\,000 CHF\n\nDuration:      2 years\n\nEligibility:\n\n	IRP 
 finances research projects regardless of the nationality of the researcher
 .\n	Project must be carried out in Europe.\n	Applications from Junior grou
