 itutes a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for awards by the Office of Naval
  Research (ONR).\nThis BAA utilizes competitive procedures for the selecti
 on for award of Science and Technology (S&T) proposals. S&T includes activ
 ities involving basic research\, applied research\, advanced technology de
 velopment\, and\, under certain conditions\, may include activities involv
 ing advanced component development and prototypes.\n\n!!! Condition: At EP
 FL\, proposals within fundamental research can be submitted to ONR. Awards
  may take the form of grants or cooperative agreements. \n\nTechnology are
 as that ONR is pursuing are provided at the ONR website at https://www.nre
 .navy.mil/our-research/onr-technology-and-research. Click on the technolog
 y area of interest for a brief description of that research area being pur
 sued by ONR.\nPotential offerors are urged to check the above website thro
 ughout the year for updates to technology areas. Prior to preparing propos
 als\, potential offerors are strongly encouraged to contact the ONR points
  of contact (POC) identified for each technology area. The POC for each te
 chnology area will be listed at the bottom of each technology area page.\n
 \nAmount/duration: The funded amount and period of performance of each pro
 posal selected for award may vary depending on the technology area and the
  technical approach to be pursued by the offeror selected.\n\nDeadline: 30
  September 2024. This announcement will remain open for approximately one 
 (1) year from the date of publication\, or until replaced by a successor B
 AA. Proposals may be submitted at any time during this period.\n\nEligibil
