DESCRIPTION:The Geistlich-Stucki Foundation for Medical Research provides 
 financial support in three funding areas.\n\n1. GEISTLICH-STUCKI PROMOTION
  OF YOUNG ACADEMICS.\nWHAT: \nCareer support for salary costs of the rese
 archers (protected time for research)\, while they work on a research proj
 ect / clinical trial in Tissue regeneration (particularly using biological
  materials\, in dentistry and oral and maxillofacial surgery\, max 3 proje
 cts awarded/year) or Cancer research (max 2 projects awarded/year). The go
 al of the project or trial should be the development (or improvement) of n
 ew\, effective therapies or materials. Support is granted for three years 
 with a maximum of CHF 150’000 p.a. (in total a maximum of CHF 450’000 
 per project).\n\nWHO: \nYoung academics (especially clinician scientists) 
 working for a Swiss institution.\n\nWHEN:\nDeadline January 7\, 2024\n\nHO

 ts funded in collaboration with the Osteology Foundation to address sound 
 clinical research questions in the field of oral and maxillofacial tissue 
 regeneration. Maximum CHF 350’000 over three years.\n\nWHO:\nFunding opt
 ions are available both for early-stage and for more experienced research 
 groups\, more details here.\n\nWHEN/ HOW:\nApplications for this grant pro
 gramme can be submitted yearly through the platform hosted by the Osteolog
 y Foundation.\n\n\n3. SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMMES.\nThe Foundation supports you
 nger people with a clinical orientation who wish to gain experience at a u
 niversity abroad for a year or temporarily attend a Swiss university from 
 abroad.
