 MENTS available here.\n\nAIMS:\nAnalysing how biodiversity and ecosystem s
 ervices are managed and used in Switzerland\, and assess the impact of Swi
 ss consumption and the production processes abroad that are required for s
 uch consumption. The programme will also investigate social\, economic and
  political factors. Project consortia consist of researchers and societal 
 actors from policy and practice (e.g. non-profit public organisations\, NG
 Os). 15.5 million CHF have been allocated to this programme.\n\nSELECTION 
 PROCESS:\nThe NRP will be set up as a transdisciplinary research programme
 . Involving relevant practitioners in developing the projects and during t
 he research phase will be a high priority. To achieve this\, the initial c
 all will be for a preparatory phase: applicants who were successful with t
 heir pre-proposal will be provided with a preparatory grant for preparing 
 full proposals for a four-year research phase. They will use the six-month
 s preparatory grant to work with practitioners to develop a project\, incl
 uding an impact model.\n\nSTRUCTURE:\nNRP 82 comprises three research modu
 les:\n\n\n\n\n	Module 1: Drivers and Trends - Investigates the drivers and
  trends of biodiversity change and how to safeguard biodiversity and ecosy
 stem services\, focusing on establishing knowledge related to the direct u
 se and management of ecosystems.\n	Module 2: Valuation and Visions - Exami
 nes valuation perspectives on biodiversity and ecosystem services\, includ
 ing economic\, social\, and cultural aspects\, and addresses goals and vis
 ions for the future.\n	Module 3: Governance and Transformation - Explores 
 governance options and pathways promoting biodiversity and ecosystem servi
 ces\, with a focus on transformative change.\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n
