         Early and mid-career researchers who have received their 
 PhD in the past 10 years.\n\nRESEARCH FELLOWSHIP:\n\n	CHF 150’000 (+CHF 
 15'000 for overheads)\n	Funding over 3 years period to cover a portion of 
 the fellow’s salary (up to 50% of the grant amount may be used for salar
 y) and any purpose in support of the fellow’s research (assistants’ sa
 laries\, equipment\, technical assistance\, professional travel\, or train
 ee support).\n	Range of non-financial benefits.\n\n\nSCOPE:\nResearch ded
 icated to improving the learning and development of children and youth w
 orldwide: education sciences\, psychology\, economics\, sociology\, behavi
 oral science\, computer science\, pedagogy\, linguistics\, neurosciences\,
  and science of learning. Combining multiple levels of analysis and engag
 ing in interdisciplinary work is strongly encouraged. \n\nA special focu
 s lies on work to understand and embrace variability in learning:\n\n	Ho
 w do variations in individuals and contextual factors influence learning\,
  development and learning outcomes?\n	How can we design for learner variab
 ility at scale to enable all children to reach their potential as learners
  and in life?\n	How can we produce interventions that reduce growing inequ
 alities in children’s learning and overcome disparities in the impacts o
 f digital technologies?\n	How can we address the role of data to help lear
 ners and teachers make informed decisions about their learning and teachin
 g?\n	What school-level learning approaches\, environments\, and experience
 s are effective in improving learning outcomes in heterogeneous student gr
 oups?\n\n\n \n
