 oche\nDear colleagues\,\n\nwe are starting the new year with our internal 
 course series for light microscopy. The next course will wrap up important
  topics to “Optimize Your Confocal Imaging”. The aim is to teach and d
 emonstrate how to fine-tune the acquisition settings of a confocal microsc
 ope in order to optimize the acquisition in terms of sensitivity\, speed\,
  and image quality. The course will be held on-site and is therefore limit
 ed to 12 participants. Places will be assigned on a first-come\, first-ser
 ved basis. In case of high demand\, the course will be repeated one week l
 ater (Tuesday\, January 31st)\nThe course is open to everyone from EPFL an
 d registration is free of charge. However\, unjustified late cancellations
  (less than 3 working days before the course date) and no show-ups will be
  charged a fee of CHF 250. It is furthermore expected that participants ha
 ve been already trained on one of the confocal microscopes of the BIOP and
