 etOp-series for near-real time applications and climate related studies. T
 he talk will provide a short overview on the sensor and archived data and 
 an introduction to the pre-processing will be given. The main focus of the
  presentation is dedicated to the retrieval of ECVs (lake surface temperat
 ure and snow cover) for near-real time as well as long-term applications. 
 Selected examples of time series will be presented and discussed.
