l operational role of anyone in charge of R&D in an innovation-driven comp
any is to make decisions about what to focus on … and what to stop doing
to free up resources. This presentation will describe tools and best pract
ices designed to help making these tough choices required to build a portf
olio of innovation projects which is well aligned with an organization’s
strategic goals. These goals include financial ones but not only\; Critic
al aspects like sustainability must be considered at the very beginning of
projects to ensure the development of “sustainable by design” solutio
ns. We will discuss practical methodologies used to develop and assess val
ue propositions of potential projects even before they are initiated.\n\nA
