 The BioScience Network Lausanne together with Nestlé Research and Unive
 rsity of Geneva PhD students cordially invite you to the Faces of Industri
 al Research (FIR) 2024\, a one-day symposium.\nFIR’s primary goal is to 
 spotlight scientific projects undertaken by Swiss companies in the life sc
 ience sectors. Throughout the event\, scientists will present their scien
 tific projects in brief talks.\nIn addition to showcasing their projects\
 , speakers will discuss their career journeys\, emphasizing the transitio
 n from academia to industry. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask them
  any burning questions during panel discussions.\nThe symposium will featu
 re networking opportunities during coffee breaks\, and an apéro where c
 urrent PhD students and postdocs can exchange firsthand insights into rese
 arch in the industry.
