DESCRIPTION:The CRI Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowship Program supports qua
 lified young scientists at leading universities and research centers aroun
 d the world. The Institute seeks hypothesis-driven\, mechanistic studies i
 n both immunology and tumor immunology. The applicant and sponsor should m
 ake every effort to demonstrate the potential of the proposed studies to d
 irectly impact our understanding of the immune system’s role in cancer.\
 n\nDuration:      3 years\n\nFunding:       Year 1 - $74\,000 sti
 pend\n                        Year 2 - $76\,000 sti
 pend\n                        Year 3 - $78\,000 sti
 pend\n                        Each year - $5\,000 a
 llowance for research or travel\n\nEligibility: Applicant must hold a doct
 orate degree by the date of award activation\, but have no more than 5 yea
 rs postdoctoral experience. Must be sponsored by a senior researcher with 
 a formal appointment at the host institution. The fellowship can be perfor
 med in the United States or abroad\, but must take place at a non-profit i
 nstitution. There are no citizenship restrictions.\n\nHow to Apply: Propos
