DESCRIPTION:The aim of this Climate Impact Award is to make the impacts of
  climate change on physical and mental health visible to drive urgent clim
 ate policy action at scale. We will fund transdisciplinary teams to delive
 r short-term\, high-impact projects that maximise policy outcomes by combi
 ning evidence generation\, policy analysis\, engaged research approaches a
 nd communication strategies.\n\nWellcome is looking for proposals with a c
 lear theory of change and strong understanding of policy levers. Policy ou
 tcomes should be achievable within the award period\, innovative in their 
 design and should support meaningful and sustainable change. Proposals sho
 uld describe the intended policy outcomes and how new insights and effecti
 ve communication will influence these outcomes. Team members (co-applicant
 s\, staff\, consultants) must combine researchers from different disciplin
 es\, policymakers\, community stakeholder representatives and/or engagemen
 t experts. Wellcome will fund transdisciplinary teams that can demonstrate
  strong health as well as climate expertise (particularly climate and mete
 orological science).\n\nFunding:       up to £ 2.5M\n\nDuration: 
      up to 3 years\n\nEligibility: Eligible organisations can be highe
 r education institutions\, research institutes\, non-academic healthcare o
 rganisations\, not-for-profit or non-governmental organisations. The host 
 organisation of the lead applicant can be based anywhere in the world.\n\n
 Lead applicant is expected to:\n\n	have experience leading transdisciplina
 ry teams and working in the science-policy-society interface.\n	have prior
  experience of research engaging with policy partners.\n	have knowledge br
 okering skills such as the ability to bring together research teams and im
 pacted communities.\n	actively promote a diverse\, inclusive and support
 ive environment within your team and across your organisation.\n\n\nCo-ap
