DESCRIPTION:The South African National Research Foundation functions as th
 e Lead Agency in 2024.\n\nLead Agency applications are part of the SNSF's 
 "project funding" instrument. Within this instrument\, applicants are enti
 tled to have up to three grants running simultaneously\, provided that one
  of them is a Weave/Lead Agency/International Co-Investigator Scheme or Eu
 ropean Partnership project and provided the three projects clearly address
  different topics.\n\nDeadline: 29 February 2024\n\nAmount: CHF 250\,000/y
 r. or CHF 750\,000 for the project\n\nDuration : Max. 36 months\, the dura
 tion of the projects is the same in both countries and must not exceed 36 
 months.  The project must start on the same date in both countries.\n\nEl
 igibility:\n\n	South Africa: PI must be associated with a recognised publi
 c higher education or research institution\, such as a university\, techni
 cal university or science council in South Africa.\n	Switzerland:  Same e
 ligibility criteria as any other SNSF Project Funding proposal\n\nHow to A
 pply:\n\n\n	Applicants are invited to submit applications for evaluation a
 nd rating at https://nrfconnect.nrf.ac.za. \n	If the application is submi
