 erry Laroche\nThe aim is to teach and demonstrate how to fine-tune the acq
 uisition settings of a confocal microscope to optimize the acquisition in 
 terms of sensitivity\, speed\, and image quality. The course will be held 
 on-site and is therefore limited to 12 participants. Places will be assign
 ed on a first-come\, first-served basis. In case of high demand\, the cour
 se will be repeated later in the year (Next: October 8th 2024).\nThe cours
 e is open to everyone from EPFL\, and registration is free. However\, unju
 stified late cancellations (less than three working days before the course
  date) and no show-ups will be charged a fee of CHF 250. It is furthermore
  expected that participants have already been trained on one of the confoc
 al microscopes of the BIOP and have used it recently\n\nDo not hesitate to
