 erry Laroche\nThe aim is to teach and demonstrate how to fine-tune the acq
 uisition settings of a confocal microscope to optimize the acquisition in 
 terms of sensitivity\, speed\, and image quality. The course will be held 
 on-site and is therefore limited to 12 participants. Places will be assign
 ed on a first-come\, first-served basis. In case of high demand\, the cour
 se will be repeated one week later (Tuesday\, January 31st)\nThe course is
  open to everyone from EPFL\, and registration is free. However\, unjustif
 ied late cancellations (less than three working days before the course dat
 e) and no show-ups will be charged a fee of CHF 250. It is furthermore exp
 ected that participants have already been trained on one of the confocal m
 icroscopes of the BIOP and have used it recently\n\nDo not hesitate to get
