DESCRIPTION:The ETH Domain Open Research Data (ORD) Program consists of fi
 ve measures to foster and improve ORD practices with the broader aim of ad
 vancing Open Science among ETH Domain researchers and institutions. The ov
 erall aim of Measure 1 of the ETH Domain Open Research Data (ORD) Program 
 is to support researchers engaging in or developing ORD practices with and
  for their community(-ies) and to assist these researchers in becoming Ope
 n Science leaders in their field(s). \n\nThe ETH Domain is now launching 
 the last Contribute call for applications. The deadline for this 8th call
  of the Contribute track falls on 30 September 2024 (17:00 CEST). Funding 
 is available for projects up to 12 months with an overall budget that must
  be CHF 30’000. Applications can be received from the six ETH Domain ins
 titutions: EPFL\, ETHZ\, PSI\, WSL\, Empa\, Eawag.\n\nWithin this Contribu
 te track\, funding aims at:\n● Contributing a piece of software\, data\,
  hardware\, etc\, which simplifies an established ORD practice\, develops 
 its research potential\, or otherwise improves it\;\n● Curating or other
 wise improving available ORD\, for example\, by updating existing data to 
 adapt it to the evolution of ORD practices or by linking different ORD dat
 asets or by collecting and curating existing data before uploading it to a
 n ORD platform\;\n● Providing community services\, such as the organizat
 ion of a workshop or training\, or coordination for the development of an 
 ORD standard.\n\nEligibility requirements and the application guidelines c
