DESCRIPTION:The Dalle Molle Foundation will award a total of 20'000 CHF (1
 0’000 CHF for the winning project)  to ongoing research projects that p
 ut digital science and technology at the service of humanity in order to i
 mprove the quality of life.\n\nThe Dalle Molle Foundation “Quality of li
 fe” prize promotes quality research that supports:\n- the harmonious and
  balanced management of the city\n- the promotion of human\, economic\, so
 cial and cultural activities\n- the enrichment of communications and socia
 l interactions\n- the sociocultural integration\, autonomy\, self fulfilme
 nt and dignity of disadvantaged people.\n\nOnly ongoing research projects\
 , based in Switzerland or Italy\, which have already been recognised by re
 search funding bodies\, public institutions or private companies for their
  scientific quality will be eligible.\n\nWho can apply: the competition is
  open to all professional profiles and ages. participants must work in Swi
 tzerland or Italy\n\nFunding: The foundation allocates a total amount of C
 HF 20'000 each year\, including a bonus of CHF 10'000  for the winner of 
 the competition\n\nDeadline: 30 May 2025\nEvaluation by the Jury\nDecision
 : Autumn 2025\n\nApplication:\n\nApplications should not exceed 5 pages (n
 ot including any annexes) and should answer the following questions:\n\n	w
 hat is the problem to be solved?\n	how can the proposal improve the qualit
 y of life? what population is it aimed at?\n	What technologies (and standa
 rds\, if any) is it based on?\n	How is the proposed solution innovative?\n
 	What is the status of the project and what is the expected timeframe?\n\n
 \n\nApplications\, should follow the Foundation’s regulations\, and be s
 ubmitted in English or one of the Swiss national languages\, to concours@d
