 t was shown that deforming the honeycomb structure in a semiconductor phot
 onic crystal in ways respecting C6v symmetry\, one opens gaps at G poin
 t in the Dirac-type dispersion accompanied by a p-d band inversion\, yield
 ing a photonic analogue of quantum spin Hall effect [1]. In this talk\, af
 ter a brief introduction on the basic notions of topology physics [2]\, I 
 will discuss on recent research frontiers of semiconductor topological pho
 tonics [3-6] and related fields such as phononic and acoustic systems.
