DESCRIPTION:Participants from Switzerland and South Korea are invited to s
 ubmit joint project proposals for research and development of innovative p
 roducts and applications with a strong market potential in Switzerland and
  South Korea. The call is open to South Korean and Swiss collaborators and
  encourages innovation in\, but not limited to\, the following technologie
 s:\n\n	Biotech\; MedTech\n	Digitalisation\; Industry 4.0\; IoT\, Artificia
 l Intelligence\n	Additive manufacturing\n	Smart Materials / Innovative Sur
 faces\n	Augmented and Virtual Reality\n	Hydrogen Technologies\n	Renewable 
 Energy & Batteries\n\nDeadline: 27 May 2025\n\nEligibility: \n All propos
 als must meet the following eligibility criteria to be considered:\n\n	The
  project duration must be between 18 and 36 months.\n	The project consorti
 um must include at least one business entity from each country (South Kore
 a and Switzerland) and one research institute from either South Korea or S
 witzerland. If the Swiss applicant is an individual start-up (pre-market a
 nd <50 FTE)\, the research institute requirement is waived.\n	Participatio
 n of other research organisations and other commercial companies from both
  countries is welcome in accordance with the funding regulations of each c
 ountry.\n	The research organisations and commercial companies must comply 
 with the regulations of their respective countries.\n	To ensure that proje
 cts promote genuine international collaboration rather than internal compa
 ny research\, affiliated companies will be considered as a single entity u
 nder the parent company. Each South Korean registered organisation involve
 d in an application must be a separate legal entity\, not linked to the Sw
 iss partners or vice versa.\n	The project must demonstrate relevant innova
 tion content\, added value and benefit from the bilateral cooperation in b
 oth countries.\n	No country can contribute more than 70% of the total pers
 on-months to the project. Person-months is the measure of the time in mont
 hs that staff will devote to the project.\n	A draft consortium agreement\,
  including intellectual property rights (IPR)\, must be submitted with the
  proposal.\n	Both agencies will only consider project costs incurred in th
 eir country as eligible. Cross-border funding is not foreseen.\n\n\nOnly p
 roposals meeting all eligibility criteria will be considered for evaluatio
 n. There will be no opportunity to correct errors in the proposals after t
 he application deadline. Please note that the inclusion of an ineligible p
 artner in a proposal will result in the entire proposal not being consider
 ed.\n\nHow to apply:\n\n\n	Korean participants must submit a KIAT applicat
 ion \n	Swiss participants must submit an Innosuisse application via Innol
 ink including:\n	\n	\n		Joint proposal document \n		draft consortium agree
 ment (not signed)\n		Relenant financial documents (including documents to 
 demonstrate capacity to finance own contribution)\, details in the call gu
