 of Göttingen\nProfessor Catrin Misselhorn gives this lecture as part of t

 hine.\n\nCatrin Misselhorn is Professor of Philosophy at the University of
  Göttingen\, having previously held positions at the Universities of Stut
 tgart\, Zürich\, Humboldt zu Berlin and Tübingen. She has also held fell
 owships at the Centre des sciences affectives in Geneva and at the Institu
 t Jean Nicod\, a cognitive science laboratory in Paris. A specialist in ma
 chine ethics\, her research focuses on the philosophical issues surroundin
 g artificial intelligence and the phenomena of empathy in ethical\, aesthe
