DESCRIPTION:The Swedish foundation Ekhagastiftelsen (Ekhaga foundation) wa
 s established in 1944 to support research in ecological agriculture and bi
 ological medicine.\n\nPrioritized research areas:\n\n	\n	\n		Organic and b
 iodynamic food production or other methods and orientations that promote t
 his goal. Research on improved preparation and storage of food\, as well a
 s the analysis of food quality can receive support.\n		Role of the diet in
  the treatment of diseases and strengthening the body's resistance.\n		Phy
 sical impact and bodily functions of complementary medicine (e.g. integrat
 ive\, biological or alternative medicine).\n	\n	\n\n\nEkhagastiftelsen fun
 ds strategic and innovative projects of a pilot nature\, as well as resear
 ch that is highly newsworthy. It also supports participatory research proj
 ects\, in which\, for example\, farmers and scientists work together to id
 entify research questions and methods\, and jointly evaluate the results.\
 n\nBesides scientific research\, Ekhagastiftelsen also supports\, to a les
 ser extent\, training activities\, documentation projects\, books\, confer
 ences or seminars.\n\nFunding & Duration: Project-specific\n\nHow to Apply
 : Applications consist of three documents: an application form\, an applic
 ation data sheet\, an a project description. All three documents have to b
 e sent together in an e-mail message to info@ekhagastiftelsen.se. For appl
 ications from outside Sweden\, a printed and signed application form has t
 o be sent as a scanned PDF-file (fourth document) by e-mail together with
