DESCRIPTION:The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) provides seed
  funding for highly innovative\, high-risk-high-reward research with signi
 ficant potential to accelerate its mission of funding type-1 diabetes rese
 arch. JDRF is requesting applications for the following opportunities:\n 
 \n\n	Career Development Awards: Designed to attract qualified and promisin
 g scientists early in their faculty careers and to give them the opportuni
 ty to establish themselves in areas that reflect the JDRF research emphasi
 s areas.\n	 \n	Postdoctoral Fellowships: Designed to attract qualified\, 
 promising scientists entering their professional career in the T1D researc
 h field\; intended for those in a relatively early state in their career.\
 n	 \n	Advanced Postdoctoral Fellowships: Designed to attract qualified\, 
 promising scientists to receive full time research training and to assist 
 these promising individuals in transitioning from a fellowship to an indep
 endent (faculty-level) position\n\n\nFunding & Duration:\n\n\n	Career Deve
 lopment Awards: USD 200\,000/year for up to 5 years.\n	Postdoctoral Fellow
 ships: Award amounts are based on years of relevant postdoctoral experienc
 e\, for up to 3 years.\n	Advanced Postdoctoral Fellowships: USD 95\,000/ye
 ar for up to 3 years.\n\n\nEligibility:\n\n\n	Open to international candid
 ates from universities\, holding an MD\, DMD\, DVM\, PhD\, or equivalent.\
 n\n\nHow to Apply:\n\n\n	Proposals should be submitted through the online 
 portal RMS360\, using the dedicated application form (available on the por
