DESCRIPTION:Since 2006\, the Erna Hamburger Prize distinguishes influentia
 l\, leading women scientists who are transforming their field and executin
 g change. The prize is awarded by the EPFL-WISH Foundation (Women In Scien
 ce and Humanities).\n\nThe Erna Hamburger Prize 2024 will be awarded to :\
 nProf. Rosa Menéndez López\n\nProf. Menéndez López is the first woman 
 to chair the Spanish Council for Scientific Research\, the largest public 
 research body in Spain\, she is currently a professor at the Carbon Scienc
 e and Technology Institute of the same institution.\n \nThe award ceremon
