CATEGORIES:Call for proposal
DESCRIPTION:Aim: LLS and IFLI are jointly funding creative and ambitious r
esearch and development proposals under the RAFL program. Research will be
aimed to understand the fundamental biology of FL progression\, to develo

\n\nInnovative projects that have the potential for high impact in the fie
ld of FL may cover discovery\, translational and clinical research. Succes
sful candidates will be established investigators in FL or related fields
with demonstrated track-records of significant contributions. Cross-discip
linary collaboration including industry partnership is encouraged. Teams m
ay be strengthened with investigators who bring special expertise in epige
netic or apoptotic control\, computational skills\, data science/AI\, anim
al model development\, neoantigen discovery and antibody treatment to the
project in FL.\n\nResearch Focus Areas can be found here.\n\nThere are two
funding mechanisms under this call:\n\n	Synergistic Team Awards (STA) wi
ll support a coordinated\, focused and significant effort to understand ce
ntral disease mechanisms and develop effective novel therapies in treating
FL.\n	Translational Awards (TRL) will support translational research tha
t moves potential therapeutic candidates toward clinical trials within 2-3
years.\n\n\nFunding:\nSynergistic Team Awards (STA): up to $6.5 M\nTransl
