DESCRIPTION:The EPFL ELLIS Lausanne Unit\, hosted within the EPFL AI Cente
 r\, is delighted to invite you to its 2024 pre-NeurIPS regional event on 
 December 5\, 2024. This event is in anticipation of the upcoming NeurIPS C
 onference\, which will be held in Vancouver\, Canada\, from December 10 to
  15.\n\nWhile the conference is highly selective\, 45 EPFL papers have bee
 n accepted to this year conference. The list of NeurIPS 2024 accepted pape
 rs with at least one EPFL author is available HERE.\n\nFor the fourth cons
 ecutive year we have decided\, prior to the conference in Canada\, to orga
 nize a local mid-scale event on the EPFL campus\, and to invite anyone who
  had an accepted contribution – papers\, talks\, posters\, workshops..-
  at NeurIPS to apply for one of our talk* and/or poster slots**. \nThe 
 conference will give the occasion to all EPFL students and researchers\, a
 nd partners with accepted papers at NeurIPS 2024 to present their works\, 
 and to all students and researchers interested in machine learning researc
 h to connect and discuss science during this event. \n\nResearchers from 
 all institutions (not only EPFL) are welcome to apply and/or attend the ev
 ent***. Please note that travel costs cannot be reimbursed.\n\n*Talk subm
 issions are closed.\n**Posters of workshop papers are accepted and we welc
 ome other published NeurIPS contributions (papers\, talks\, posters\, work
 shops). Feature posters including but not exclusive to accepted NeurIPS s
 ubmissions. Upon space\, contributions to other major conferences can als
 o be showcased. \n***Please note that seats are limited\, thus\, not all
