DESCRIPTION:This Workshop is co-organized by CECAM and the EPFL AI Cent
 er.\n\nThe event comprehensively explores the synergy between artificial i
 ntelligence and physical modeling in advancing modern simulation technique
 s\, is structured around four key sessions\, and provides a deep dive into
  this rapidly evolving field. The first session on foundational machine le
 arning establishes a solid understanding of AI principles crucial for inte
 gration with physicochemical models. The second session delves into optima
 l transport theory and its applications\, bridging theoretical concepts wi
 th practical implementations in free energy and genomics. The third sessio
 n focuses on machine learning potentials for physical and chemical simulat
 ions\, showcasing how AI can enhance traditional computational methods by 
 combining quantum mechanics with molecular dynamics. The final session exp
 lores the intersection of machine learning and physical modeling in molecu
 lar and material science\, demonstrating cutting-edge applications revolut
 ionizing research and development in these fields.\n\nThroughout the works
 hop\, participants will engage with expert speakers\, explore case studies
 \, and participate in formal and informal discussions according to the bes
 t tradition of the CECAM events. The workshop aims to equip attendees with
  the knowledge and skills to effectively leverage AI in their simulation w
 ork by addressing challenges such as model interpretability\, computation
 al efficiency\, and ethical considerations. This event will allow research
