DESCRIPTION:Postdoc.Mobility fellowships provide support for a research st
 ay abroad (24 months)\, for researchers who have done a doctorate and who 
 wish to pursue a scientific or an academic career in Switzerland. NEXT APP
 LICATION DEADLINE. 05.08.2025 17:00 Swiss time\n\nThe SNSF is organising a
 n online event to present the Postdoc.Mobility fellowships on 12 May 2025\
 , from 10:00 to 11:30 (Swiss time). The presentation of the funding scheme
  will be followed by a Q&A session. Interested persons can register now vi
 a this link.\n\nThe fellowship covers:\n\n	subsistence costs\,\n	flat-rate
  for travel expenses\n	contribution to research and conference costs.\n\nI
 n addition\, fellowship holders can apply for a return grant (3-12 months)
  to finance their initial period of research after returning to Switzerlan
 d.\nThe return grant includes:\n\n	salary\n	social security contributions\
 n\nConditions:\n- Eligibility window: application possible as early as 9 m
 onths before PhD defense\, up to 3 years after PhD defense (net academic a
 ge)\n- Nationality: call open to Swiss nationals and to holders of valid S
 wiss permanent residence\, residence or cross-border commuter permit\, mar
 ried to a Swiss national or co-habiting with a Swiss national in a registe
 red partnership. In addition\, foreign nationals must have at least 2 yea
 rs research activity at a Swiss research institution.\n- !! Online applica
