 surfaces in relative motion. Tribology is a key factor to successfully add
 ress new challenges related to the durability\, performance\, efficiency\,
  and sustainability of a number of strategic applications. Especially rele
 vant for Switzerland\, is the demand for more efficient micro/nanosystems\
 , bio-engineering interfaces and in the related manufacturing processes.\n
 \nThese seminars address specific advanced tribology topics for a broad au
 dience of engineers and scientists from academia and industry. The speaker
 s are recognized specialists and will discuss\, after a broad introduction
  to the subject\, scientific challenges and technical opportunities in the
