 agement are crucial for maintaining research integrity\, protecting privac
 y\, and ensuring sustainable data practices. This course explores the prin
 ciples and practices of ethical data management\, emphasizing the importan
 ce of data anonymization techniques and sustainable management strategies.
  \n\nYou will learn to navigate complex legal\, ethical\, and social dimen
 sions of managing research data while ensuring compliance with data protec
 tion laws and fostering trust in research outputs.\n\nThrough interactive 
 discussions and case studies\, participants will learn to:\n\n\n	Address e
 thical challenges in data collection and management\, including compliance
  with GDPR and Swiss data laws\, and apply anonymization techniques to pro
 tect subject privacy.\n	Implement sustainable data practices and leverage 
 EPFL’s resources to enhance ethical and legal compliance in research wor
 kflows.\n\n\n\nWhile not mandatory\, basic knowledge of Research Data Mana
 gement is recommended: for an introductory training\, please register for
