DESCRIPTION:The CROSS program fosters the development of interdisciplinary
  projects addressing current societal and technological issues\, by bringi
 ng together researchers from EPFL and the University of Lausanne (UNIL).\n
 \nEach year\, through a call for projects\, CROSS awards funding of up to 
 CHF 60’000 per project. These funds are intended to support emerging ini
 tiatives that are likely to evolve into major interdisciplinary research p
 rojects.\n\nProjects submitted must bring together experts from the humani
 ties and social sciences\, as well as specialists from the life sciences\,
  natural sciences and engineering.\n\nThe 2025 CROSS call is open to all t
 opics.\n\n---------------------\n\nPROPOSALS:\n\nProposals must come from 
 joint UNIL-EPFL teams\, which bring together specialists in the human and 
 social sciences on the one hand\, with specialists from life sciences\, na
 tural sciences or engineering on the other.\n\nUp to six projects will be 
 selected\, with a maximum of CHF 60\,000 awarded per project.\n\n	Deadline
  for submission of applications: Tuesday\, 17 June\, 2025 (midnight CET)\
 n	Notification of decision: by 30 September 2025\n	Starting date of projec
