DESCRIPTION:Following a long tradition\, the European Semiconductor Laser 
 Workshop (ESLW) 2011 will be held in conjunction with the 37th European Co
 nference and Exhibition on Optical Communication (ECOC). It will be hosted
  by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne on Septem
 ber 23 and 24 2011.\nThe workshop will provide an informal forum for discu
 ssing most recent results and achievements in the field of semiconductor l
 asers\, related devices and technology.\nThe workshop is arranged in the f
 orm of oral presentations of about 10 minutes plus 5 minutes discussion.\n
 You will also remember the nature beyond the campus\, which will offer ple
 asant settings for further stimulating exchanges.
