DESCRIPTION:AIM:  The SNSF and the Japan society for the Promotion of Sci
 ence (JSPS) are launching a joint call for proposals.\nRESEARCH FIELDS: Al
 l disciplines\nAMOUNT: CHF 300\,000 (The SNSF will cover project costs in 
 Switzerland\, while JSPS will cover the costs in Japan.)\nDEADLINE: 30 Jun
 e 2025\, 5PM CET\nDURATION: Up to 36 months\nSWISS ELIGIBILITY:\n\n	One ap
 plicant based in Switzerland\, one applicant based in Japan (additional ap
 plicants based in Switzerland and/or Japan can also participate)\n	Applica
 nts requesting funding must meet the eligibility requirements of the SNSF.
  The SNSF Funding Regulations\, the General implementation regulations and
  the Regulations on Project Funding are applicable or applicable mutatis m
 utandis where not stated otherwise. \n	All applicants may only submit one
  application per call. \n	If awarded it WILL NOT count as one of the 3 al
 lowable Project Funding Awards (2 Project + 1 WEAVE/Lead Agency/Co-PI sche
 me)\n	Applicants can submit a proposal for a JRP under the present call ev
 en if they hold or have applied for another SNSF grant. \n	Moreover\, gra
 ntees may submit proposals to all SNSF funding schemes during the funding 
 period of a JRP. In either case\, substantial thematic overlaps must be av
 oided and applicants must be in a position to make substantial contributio
 ns to each of the research projects (cf. Article 17 of the SNSF Funding Re
 gulations). \n	Please note that the present call is not in conflict with 
 the restrictions applicable to the SNSF’s national project funding in ac
 cordance with Article 13 of the Regulations on Project Funding.\n\nJAPANES

 IEWING AGENCY: \n\n\n	The 2025 call will be evaluated by JSPS\, with the 
 SNSF adopting JSPS’ funding decision.\n	A maximum of 10 joint projects w
