DESCRIPTION:Muzi Hong (IPMU)\nDifferent from the textbook metric formalism
  of gravity\, Einstein-Cartan gravity allows torsion degrees of freedom. I
 n this talk\, I will discuss possible realizations of inflation in the Ein
 stein-Cartan gravity\, by adding combinations of torsion components to the
  Lagrangian. If further adding matter currents coupling to the torsion com
 ponents\, this will lead to couplings between the inflaton and matter curr
 ents. I will show how to realize such couplings and show the asymptotic be
 havior of the decay constants.
