 	Improve sustainable forest management to address climate change\, biodive
 rsity loss\, and demand for forest products.\n	Promote interaction between
  scientists and practitioners for solution-oriented approaches.\n	Contribu
 te to ecosystem stability and encourage adoption of innovative\, evidence-
 based forestry practices.\n\n\n \nThematic Focus of the Call\n\n\n	Primar
 y Topics:\n\n	\n		Innovative\, integrative forest management for climate c
 hange adaptation/mitigation.\n		Promotion of biodiversity and resilient ec
 osystem services.\n		Sustainable forest product supply.\n	\n	\n	Secondary 
 Focus:\n	\n		Tools or incentives for behavioral change in forest managemen
 t by giving practical value to theoretical forest services.\n	\n	\n	Exclus
 ions:\n	\n		Projects centered solely on implementation or community develo
 pment without scientific grounding.\n		Small case studies of limited gener
 ality.\n		Urban forestry.\n	\n	\n\n\n \nProject Types\n\n\n	Research Proj
 ects\n\n	\n		Novel\, high-potential ideas with stakeholder involvement.\n	
 	Must include interdisciplinary approaches (optional).\n		10% of the budge
 t for knowledge transfer.\n		Focus on general applicability (not local-onl
 y).\n	\n	\n	Science-Practice Projects\n	\n		Collaborative efforts between 
 researchers and practitioners.\n		Deliverables: tools\, resources\, commun
 ication products.\n		Requires strong engagement and continuity beyond fund
 ing period.\n	\n	\n\n\n \nWho Can Apply\n\n\n	At least two partners from 
 different institutions\, with one academic partner.\n	Collaborations may i
 nclude NGOs\, government bodies\, forest owners\, etc.\n	Global projects w
 elcome\; preference for transboundary collaborations with at least one par
 tner from an OECD country.\n	PI must be an established or leading  resear
 cher from a recognized institution.\n	NEW: each organisation can submit a 
 maximum of two applications per call (in the role of PI or co-PI). If this
  limit is exceeded\, all applications from that institution will be exclud
 ed.\n	Therefore\, PIs must contact their institution’s Grants Office ear
 ly to coordinate and confirm eligibility.\n	Important:\n	EPFL  has a cent
 ralized submission coordination process for this funding call to ensure co
 mpliance with eligibility limits and to avoid duplicate applications If yo
