DESCRIPTION:Aim: LSS funds research on leukemia\, lymphoma\, myeloma\, and
all other rare blood cancers. They are dedicated to funding the best scie
nce to bring better treatments to patients with every form of blood cancer
. The LLS Translational Research Program was created in 1995 with the goal
of accelerating clinical applications of laboratory findings relevant to
improved diagnosis and management of leukemia\, lymphoma\, myeloma\, and o
ther hematopoietic malignancies\n\n\nFor the 2026 application cycle the fo
undation will only consider applications that adhere to the following subm
ission guidelines:\n\n	For small molecule compounds the application must b
e of in vivo proof of concept (POC) in appropriate mouse models. Alternati
vely\, based on the mechanism of action\, an in vitro POC with patient-der
ived samples may be considered.\n	For cellular or immunotherapies\, in viv
o POC would make for a stronger application. We acknowledge\, however\, th
at depending on the type of therapy being developed an in vitro POC may be
  more appropriate or necessary.\n\n\nFunding:       $750\,000\n\nDur
