DESCRIPTION:Call currently closed\nCOST (European Cooperation in Science 
 and Technology) is a funding programme that encourages networking of scie
 ntific and technological research activities throughout Europe and beyond.
  The aim is to facilitate breakthrough scientific developments leading to 
 new concepts and products. COST does not fund research but supports networ
 king (COST Actions) via different tools such as meetings\, short-term scie
 ntific exchanges\, training schools and dissemination activities. COST Act
 ions have a duration of 4 years. The deadline to submit a COST Action is u
 sually in October. COST Actions do not cover research funding. Integration
  into existing COST actions is possible.\n\nSwitzerland is one of the foun
 ding countries of COST and a full member of the COST Association. Thanks t
 o this status\, researchers in Switzerland are entitled to participate in 
 COST Actions or to coordinate them and submit applications for new Actions
 . Thus\, scientists based in Switzerland are fully eligible for all COST a
 ctivities and for reimbursement of their related expenses.\nSNSF provides 
 support for the proposal preparation for COST Actions.\n\nFind information
