DESCRIPTION:The Federal Office of Transport (FOT) provides financial suppo
 rt for projects that contribute to the objectives of the Energy Strategy 2
 050 in Public Transport (ESPT 2050) programme.\n\nEvery year in January an
 d June\, the FOT issues a call for projects.\n\nThe programme takes into a
 ccount a wide range of project types:\n\n\n\n	Research and innovation proj
 ects\n	Projects to promote good practice\n	Projects in support of knowledg
 e development and dissemination\n\n\n\nFunding: Up to 40% of eligible cost
 s\, and up to 60% for energy-related or infrastructure projects.\n\nThe FO
 T Programme management team is available to applicants who are interested 
 in discussing their project before submitting a grant application.\n\nTo a
 pply for a grant\, applicants must submit an 'Expression of Interest' form
  (in German and French)\, in which they present their project and its bene
 fits to the ESPT 2050 programme. \n\nNext call deadline is on 30 June 202
 6.\n\nApplicants whose projects are approved will then be asked to submit 
 a detailed project plan\, on the basis of which the FOT will draw up the g
 rant contract.\n\nFor additional information about the programme and the e
