 e Brender (EPFL) will examine how undergraduate students learn with AI tut
 ors in robotics and computer science courses.\n\nAcross multiple design it
 erations\, he investigated how features such as course-grounded retrieval 
 (RAG)\, Socratic questioning\, and real-time prompt feedback\, and debate 
 chatbot\, shape students’ engagement\, prompting behavior\, and learning
  outcomes.\n\nHis work focuses on how AI tutors can help students better u
 nderstand course concepts and become more reflective and effective users o
 f AI tools. The findings provide insights into designing AI tutors that fo
 ster critical thinking and support sustainable learning practices.
