DESCRIPTION:Aim:  The Prostate Cancer Foundation champions investment in 
 human capital to fast-forward solutions for prostate cancer with the ultim
 ate goal of ending death and suffering from metastatic prostate cancer.  
 To this end\, PCF is pleased to announce a Request for Applications for PC
 F Challenge Awards for investigations of metastatic\, lethal prostate canc
 er. These awards will be funded depending on the level of innovation in ap
 plications received. PCF seeks high-risk\, currently unfunded projects fro
 m academic institutions around the world.\n\nFunding:       $1’000
 ’000\n\nDuration:      24 months\n\nEligibility: Investigators repr
 esenting non-profit academic research centers are eligible to apply for PC
 F Challenge Awards. Teams should be composed of at least 3 investigators c
 apable of providing unique scientific expertise to the solution of this\ns
 ignificant problem in prostate cancer research. In addition\, they must em
 bed at least one young investigator as an integral contributor to the team
 . Applicants who are under-represented in biomedical research are highly e
 ncouraged to apply.\n\nHow to Apply: Full proposals will be submitted on a
  dedicated platform\, and should consist of an abstract\, statement of ori
 ginality\, research proposal (10 pages max.)\, NIH biosketches for all PIs
 \, and a budget.  Note that no overhead is allowed.\n\nDeadline:
