DESCRIPTION:Aim: \nThe Cystic Fibrosis Foundation\, a global leader in the
  search for a cure for cystic fibrosis\, is pleased to announce the releas
 e of the Fall 2026 clinical research funding mechanisms.\n \n\n	Research
  Grant (CRA): Supporting investigator‑initiated clinical research projec
 ts that can make a significant contribution to the CF Foundation’s missi
 on by advancing the diagnosis\, treatment\, management\, or understanding 
 of cystic fibrosis.\n	Pilot and Feasibility Award (CPFA): Supporting early
 ‑stage clinical research projects involving human subjects or samples th
 at develop and test new hypotheses or new methods relevant to cystic fibro
 sis\, and to enable investigators to generate sufficient preliminary data 
 to design larger‑scale or multi‑center clinical studies.\n\n\nFunding:
           CRA – USD $150’000/year (single-center)\,\n      
                                USD $350’000/year (multi
 -center)\n                         CPFA – USD $80’000/yea

  \nEligibility: \n\n\n	Applicants must be independent investigators\n	Fel
 lows only eligible if they will hold faculty appointments by award start d
 ate\n	Must be based at non‑profit or academic institutions\n	Industry‑
 sponsored research is not eligible\n	Sufficient access to CF patients (for
  CRA)\n	Project must involve human subjects or human samples (for CPFA)\n\
 n\nHow to Apply: First-time applicants need to pre-register well before th
 e date of submission and create a username\, password and profile. Applica
 tions must be submitted online at awards.cff.org. Applications components 
 vary by program.\n\nDeadline:\nLetter of Intent: April 02\, 2026 (5:00 pm
