 ranslated into space applications through collaboration between academia a
 nd industry within the European space ecosystem. It highlights a practical
  approach linking fundamental research\, technology development\, and indu
 strial application.\n\nBio:\nMaría García-Vigueras is a Full Professor a
 t INSA Rennes and a researcher at IETR\, France\, where she leads the Surf
 WAVE research team since 2021. She holds a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Eng
 ineering from Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (2012) and was a postd
 octoral fellow in at EPFL (2012–2015) in the LEMA laboratory. Her resear
 ch focuses on applied electromagnetism\, Space RF systems and antennas. Sh
 e holds an Innovation Chair from the Institute Universitaire de France (si
 nce 2023) and has received prestigious awards\, including the Roberto Sorr
 entino Award from the European Microwave Association (2023) and the Troph
 ées Valorisation from Université de Rennes (2025). Actively involved in 
 the scientific community\, she serves on TPCs of major conferences and pro
 motes diversity in engineering.\n
