DESCRIPTION:Aim: Through the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Pro
 gram (CDMRP)\, the Department of Defense is announcing the 2026 Alzheimer'
 s Research Program (AZRP) Awards. Several award programs are available:\n\
 n	The Transforming Care Award aims to support well-designed\, non-incremen
 tal clinical research that develops and implements interventions\, innovat
 ions\, and solutions to address critical challenges in dementia care. Proj
 ects should lead to improved quality of life\, reduced caregiver burden an
 d stress\, and enhanced care delivery and outcomes for individuals living 
 with AD/ADRD.\n	The Transforming Diagnosis Award supports non-incremental\
 , solution-oriented research that addresses critical barriers to timely an
 d accurate diagnosis\, disease monitoring\, and prognosis in AD/ADRD. Proj
 ects should demonstrate clear potential to improve accessibility\, clinica
 l implementation\, and the reliability of diagnostic and prognostic approa
 ches.\n	The Transforming Research Award supports non-incremental\, high-im
 pact research that aims to drive transformative advances in reducing risk 
 and preventing the development of AD/ADRD. Projects should demonstrate str
 ong potential to accelerate prevention strategies and deliver meaningful i
 mprovements in patient outcomes and quality of life. All projects must res
 pond to one of the focus areas listed here.\n\nFunding:\n\n\n	Transforming
  Care Award: $1.6M - $1.9M\n	Transforming Diagnosis Award: $1.5M - $1.7M\n
 	Transforming Research Award: max. $1M\n\n\nNote: Cost caps are total cos
 ts (direct plus indirect costs). In accordance with EPFL guidelines\, bud
 gets should include a 20% overhead\, and the total budget must remain with
 in the grant’s maximum allowable funding\n\n\nDuration:   \n\n\n	Trans
 forming Care Award: 4 years\n	Transforming Diagnosis Award: 4 years\n	Tran
 sforming Research Award: 3 years\n\nEligibility: Applicants from internati
 onal organizations or institutions are eligible to apply\, and there are n
 o citizenship restrictions. Program-specific seniority levels and eligibil
 ity criteria are further defined within each award mechanism here.\n\nHow 
 to Apply: Pre-applications are submitted through the eBRAP platform. They 
 should contain contact information\, a letter of intent\, and a list of co
 llaborators and key personnel as suggested on the platform. Full applicati
