DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Flagship call by Innosuisse and armasuisse supports r
 esearch and innovation in security and defence\, with a focus on dual-use 
 technologies that benefit both civilian and defence applications.\n\nThe 2
 026 call focuses on three complementary technology areas critical to defen
 ce and secure mobility:\n\n	Precise and reliable positioning\, navigation 
 and timing (PNT)\n	Photonics for communication and sensorapplications\n	In
 novative technologies to counteract drones (C-UAV)\n\nDual-use requirement
 : Flagship proposals must target innovations with clear civilian and defen
 ce applications. Projects with only civilian or only defence objectives ar
 e not eligible. Applicants must demonstrate the dual-use character in thei
 r (pre-)proposal.\n\nEligibility Checklist:\n\n\n	Consortium includes at l
 east 3 eligible research partners\, including at least 1 University of App
 lied Sciences (UAS).\n	Consortium includes at least 2 implementation partn
 ers.\n	A HEI or eligible non-commercial research institution acts as Host 
 Institution.\n	Proposal demonstrates systemic innovation and transdiscipli
 nary collaboration.\n\nMandatory Pre-Proposal Content:\n\n\n	Executive sum
 mary and abstract.\n	Partnership and consortium structure.\n	Visual organi
 sation chart of flagship and subprojects.\n	Objectives\, milestones\, deli
 verables and systemic innovation rationale.\n	High-level budget estimate.\
 n\nKey Dates:\n\n\n	Online information session: The recording from the 13 
 August 2026 event is available HERE.\n	Pre-proposal deadline: 27 October 
 2026 (12:00 CET).\n	Recommendation letters: February 2027.\n	Full proposal
  deadline: 4 May 2027 (12:00 CET).\n	Funding decision: July 2027.\n\nEPFL
