 nean Institute for the City and Territories\, designed in collaboration wi
 th Marion Bernard\, Point Suprem\, Jacques Lucan and Atelier Roberta\, is 
 a unifying entity rather than the simple sum of three existing schools (ar
 chitecture\, urban planning\, and landscape studies). The Institute’s pu
 rpose is to physically foster relationships\, exchanges\, and collaboratio
 ns between the three institutions and their immediate as well as broader e
 nvironment. The architecture of the Institute is therefore intentionally o
 pen to the city. From Porte d’Aix Square\, this small campus stands out\
 , day and night\, as a welcoming presence.\n\nNP2F architectes\nNP2F is an
  architecture firm founded in 2009 by François Chas\, Nicolas Guérin\, F
 abrice Long\, and Paul Maitre Devallon. Today\, it brings together around 
 twenty team members split between Marseille and Paris\, and works in vario
 us cities across France and abroad. The projects NP2F engages in are both 
 architectural and urban\, and its areas of expertise include sports facili
 ties\, cultural and educational buildings\, leisure and dining venues\, an
 d public space.\n\nPart of School Lecture Series\, Autumn 2026\, Learning 
 Vol.1\nWe are told that learning is no longer confined to the school or th
 e university\, but it has become a continuous process that involves the to
 tality of life. Yet in accepting this reality\, we take for granted severa
 l questions that loom large within the contemporary idea of learning. In a
  time when technology and information are ubiquitous\, does it still make 
 sense that for learning to happen or be confined within a place? Is learni
 ng still an asymmetrical relationship where there are teachers and a stude
 nt? And above all\, is learning accessible\, or has it become too expensiv
 e a commodity? In this lecture series\, we’ll attempt to answer these qu
 estions by investigating learning on different levels such as technology\,
  construction systems\, educational spaces\, and above all\, making archit
 ecture. Indeed\, the question that is more than anything else crucial to u
 s is whether architecture is still a place of learning and not only of emp
 owering those who have capital to build it. We will look at schools\, draw
 ings\, robots\, and measuring devices. We will ponder whether these things
  are only ‘tools’ to achieve a result or can still be vital places for
